6203285, Lance Corporal Allan Speleers, 1st Battalion, Middlesex Regiment died 24 December 1941, aged 24.  He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Sai Wan Memorial, Hong Kong and the Butterknowle War Memorial, the Roll of Honour in St. John the Evangelist church, Lynesack.

  1. George MAUGHAN 1914 – 1942

3322838 Private George Maughan, 2nd Battalion, the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders died 18 March 1942 aged 27.  He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial and the Evenwood War Memorial.

  1. Bertie PARKIN 1916 – 1942

3252568 Rifleman Bertie Parkin, 1st Battalion, The Cameronians [Scottish Rifles] died 19 April 1942 aged 26. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Rangoon Memorial and the Butterknowle War Memorial.

4469856 Private Maurice Wilkinson, 1st Battalion, the Lincolnshire Regiment died between 16th and 17 February 1944, aged 20 and is buried at Taukkyan War Cemetery, Burma and commemorated on Evenwood War Memorial.

1738058 Gunner James Thomas Robinson, 55 Anti-Aircraft/Anti-Tank Regiment, Royal Artillery died 30 May 1944 aged 35.  He is buried at Gauhati War Cemetery, Assam, NE India and commemorated on West Auckland War Memorial.

1515005 Gunner John Routledge, 85 Anti-tank Regiment, Royal Artillery died 12 September 1944 aged 26.  He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial and the West Auckland War Memorial.

1032538 Aircraftsman 1st Class Dennis Priestley, RAFVR died 9 October 1944 aged 22. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial and the Butterknowle War Memorial.

  1. Percy ANDERSON 1919 – 1945 Prisoner of War

T/156324 Driver Percy Anderson, Royal Army Service Corps died 22 February 1945 aged 25.  He is buried in Yokohama War Cemetery, Japan and commemorated on West Auckland War Memorial.  He was captured at Singapore and transferred to a work camp at Yokohama, Japan.
