JOHN BOLTON

John Bolton could be the son of William and Hannah Bolton from Evenwood Gate.  There were 4 children, all born at Evenwood:

• Mary A. bc.1881
• Annie bc. 1883
• John bc.1889
• Arthur bc.1892

In 1901 William worked as a coal miner (shifter).[1] In 1911, the family still lived at Evenwood Gate.  William worked as a coal miner (shiftman).  22 year old John and his 19 year old brother Arthur both worked as a coal miners (dillybrakers).[2]

To date, a serviceman with this name has not yet been identified.
