Cpl. Percival Hunt Nunney

Percival Hunt Nunney 1886-1950

18735 Corporal P.H. Nunney, Notts & Derby Regiment was born in 1886 at Whittington, Derbyshire, the son of Samuel and Mary Jane, his father was a mole catcher.  By 1901 he was a pupil teacher.  He enlisted 9 November 1914 and was discharged 10 January 1918.  By 1918 he was a certified assistant at Cockfield County Mixed School but left the same year.  He was awarded the British War and Victory medals therefore it seems that he did not serve overseas.  1950: died aged 64 at Barkston Ash, North Yorkshire.
