George Gladstone Wall was born 23 June 1899 in the Lynesack & Softley Parish to Harry and Mary Wall.  In 1901 the family lived at Witton le Wear.   In 1911 they lived at Alpine Terrace, Cockfield.  He attended Cockfield C. of E. School then the County School.He died February 1989 aged 89.

His service records have not yet been traced.
