Bob Heseltine R.N.

In 1933, aged 21, Bob enlisted into the Royal Navy.  He was a good friend of Walter Watson who was lost at sea 25 February 1944.  Bob served aboard HMS Nelson, the aircraft carrier HMS Courageous, HMS Saltburn and in 1938, HMS Ramilees when the Duke of Edinburgh also served on this vessel.  11 December 1941, he was sunk off Tobruk, served on HMS Ross and finally HMS Bilberry Bay.
